New ID Cards coming for some commercial plans

On April  1, 2023, a new wave of Individual and Group Market health plans for existing members will transition to UnitedHealthcare’s new commercial claims processing system.

Impact: All members in transitioning states and plans (below) will receive new ID cards upon renewal beginning April 1, 2023, and beyond.

  • ID card changes for members with fully insured plans will include a new group number, Rx group code and mailing address for medical claims 

  • ID card changes for All Savers members transitioning to UnitedHealthcare level-funded plans will include new card logos, member ID, group numbers, payer ID, RX group number, provider contact details, pharmacist contact details and medical claims mailing address.

Plans: Charter, Choice, Choice Plus, Core, Core Essential, Heritage, Heritage Plus, Heritage Select, Heritage Select Advantage, Heritage Select Plus, Navigate, Navigate Plus, Nexus ACO OA, Nexus ACO OAP, Nexus ACO R, Nexus ACO RB, Nexus ACO RP, Non Diff PPO, Options PPO, Select and Select Plus

The April transition also includes members covered under an All Savers health plan, which is being rebranded to level-funded UnitedHealthcare plans.
